What's more fun than games? NOTHING! There are a lot of different kinds of games spanning across different outlets the most notable games being for Xbox, Playstation, PC or the even more popular but less thought of smartphone. A Summer Story is one that takes place on your PC but it is very familiar to me in the way you click through the story making decisions here and there that may alter you own experience. I like the game play aspect to stories such as this one, it gives you a different interaction with a story than just reading the words to get to the end. I've played a few of these interactive stories on my phone, clicking through and hoping I'm making the right choices. With interaction in stories like this you are more invested in the story because you are this character, making right and wrong choices for yourself and seeing the consequences of those actions. The tones enhanced by the audio that accompanies the story immerses you even more into the story, I started to get goose bumps on my arms when I thought the story was going down a dark path. The character development you put into the story has a big effect into getting you to finish the story all the way to the end (or in my case into two ending since I wanted to see where a different path would take me). I think just like me Bryan Alexander would enjoy this story as a quick get away, the story itself doesn't take long, and I don't want to give anything away in hopes readers play for themselves. If you have a few minutes to kill waiting for the bus, or at an appointment then try this out!
