More CreepyPasta! - The Dionaea House

Hey again everyone! Back with more CreepyPasta this week, I've been captured and am going to be a long time fan now. This week is all about The Dionaea House, the conflict in this blog reminded me of Frodo and the shadowy eye of Sauron. You see Frodo during his whole journey and everything that conspires but Sauron is this illusory evil in the distance that you only feel as a presence. In this same sense the house that comes to be know as "flytrap house" is only a presence one that through the actions around the story seems to fight back against the main character Mark and later others.

It took me awhile to really understand the dynamic of how these posts read, but that didn't stop me from getting engrossed in wanting to know the outcome. The links that are embedded really help you get the full experience. Bryan Alexander mentions the different forms of blogs, and The Dionaea House hits a lot of this with it's further linked content. You can see the time-based republication of the emails, then the diaries by Danielle and Loreen, and a single post by Jen (this is found through Danielle's blog) that bring the whole story around to more questions than answers.

By the end of reading everything I was spooked myself. It didn't help that I was alone at home while going through everything but even in the light of day I could feel shadows creeping in. Every little noise was something coming for me. If you need a little horror in your day then check this out! #CreepyPasta, #Microblog, #DionaeaHouse

I really love the metaphor/comparison you used of Lord of the Rings to describe the Dionea House. It provided a good framework to prepare oneself to read the actual work.
