I've always been interested in what CreepyPasta is and how Slenderman became so popular. This story wasn't what I was expecting. The first person point of view that this story is told from gives you an more in-depth look at the scene and how disturbing it is. When you near the ending and there is a sudden view point change it seems a bit unnerving because of it's suddenness and makes you anxious to what happened to the main character. You go from very deeply immersed in what is going to happen to this unnamed (at the beginning) characters terror, and pain to a complete scene change. My first thought was that the character had died but from the description her sister makes of what she looks like in the hospital death may have been nicer to her.
